Parent Teacher Organization

Welcome to the Acres Green Elementary School Community from your Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)! We look forward to working together with you and each of your families to enrich the experiences of our children this year, especially during these unique times. With your involvement, we can continue to support our fantastic staff to create lasting and meaningful learning experiences for all of our children, whether it is in-person or virtually.

What does the PTO do?

The primary purpose of our organization is to coordinate community building activities and fundraise for our school.  We work together to raise money for events and materials that enrich the experiences of the students and we support community events that build connections amongst our families and school staff.

Where does the money go?

Principal Emmalee Owens focuses her budget on the most important resource at Acres Green Elementary School--the faculty and staff who are essential to the academic success of our children. The PTO works to supplement our children’s experiences with things such as resources for the library, materials to support the Leader in Me curriculum, STEM Materials and updated technology.
