Hello everyone! My name is Lexi Shriver and I couldn't be more excited to be joining the 1st grade team at Acres Green Elementary. I grew up in Sedalia, Co and am 1 of 5 children---I have 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. I was lucky enough to grow up in the country and experience the joy of horses and various farm animals throughout my childhood. I am a former trick rider and I currently ride western to this day. I now live in Castle Rock where I bought my first home with my longterm boyfriend Bridger. Things I love include going to the gym, cooking/baking and crafting with my Cricut! I went to college at the University of Northern Colorado and was fortunate enough to graduate with highest honors in Elementary Education (K-6) with a CLD endorsement (K-12). I have had many years of experience with preschool/ Pre-K and was fortunate enough to do my student teaching in a first grade classroom. I love working with kids and I truly think I was meant to be a teacher, I have never been happier doing anything else. I look forward to continuing my career at Acres Green Elementary and I can't wait to be your child's 1st grade teacher. We are going to have an awesome year!
