Audra Hollis
6th Grade Teacher
I am so excited to be a part of Acres Green Elementary! My name is Audra Hollis and I
have been an educator for 27 years! I have experience in teaching K-8 th grade. I have my
Bachelors of Psychology from CU Boulder and also have my Masters in Reading Leadership, as
well as, an Educational Specialist Degree with my principal licensure. I was born in Montrose,
CO but grew up in Virginia and Wyoming. I just recently relocated back to the front range
where I began my teaching career.
My 2 adult children are also teachers on the front range! We enjoy lots of different family
events together. In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, run, hike and spend time with
my adult children. Teaching has always been a major part of who I am. I love teaching and
inspiring students to find and tap into their natural talents! My favorite part of teaching is
finding innovative ways to make learning relevant and engaging for my students. I am looking
forward to a great school year!

My name is Michael Ludwig and I have been teaching at Acres Green for 15 years now (five years in 6th and ten in 4th). I currently live in Littleton, CO with my wife Callie (a former Acres Green teacher), daughter Adelaide (8), and Chihuahuas Lincoln and Kennedy. I was born in Chicago but grew up in Thornton. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University in Denver. My family and I enjoy spending our time outside hiking, playing sports, and we all take dance lessons at Littleton Ballet Academy. My family and I are huge fans of the Denver Broncos and Chicago Cubs. I am excited for another year at Acres Green!

Brian Roach
6th Grade Teacher
My name is Brian Roach and this is my 15th year teaching at AGE and my 14th year in 6th grade. I grew up in a south suburb of Chicago and received my Bachelor’s degree at a small school in Wisconsin called St. Norbert College. I moved to Colorado 30 years ago and began working in the mortgage industry before receiving my Master’s in Elementary Education at the University of Phoenix and making the change to a teaching career. I have been living in Castle Rock for the past 19 years with my wife Julie, and two sons Treyton (20) and Tanner (18). As a family, we spend much of our time hiking, traveling, and playing sports. We take our labradoodle and mini goldendoodle with us as much as possible. We also enjoy watching movies, playing games, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
